Veggie's Paradise : A taste to Remember!
Kolkata, a city full of diverse cultures blending well together! Though, it is true that majority of the city enjoys eating non vegetarian meals but it cannot be denied that the city also has its fair share of vegetarian diet based people! Hence, this affordable eastery - 'Veggie's Paradise' at Chinar Park, Kolkata is a must visit! Let's delve into this Def. (Not) A FOOD BLOG!
Khana kaisa hai!?
Let's begin with the most important question - 'Khana Kaisa Hai? ' . Vegetarians can enjoy a variety of North Indian, Indo-chinese & Bengali delicacies at this one stop.
The taste of the food here is amazing! The spice level can be adjusted as per your palate and the food can be seen getting prepared at their live kitchen!
The naans are decent. The curries are fingerlicking good!
This outlet has recently combined its fruit juice business and merged it with the restaurant. So you can also enjoy some really amazing mocktails, fruit juices and shakes!
Pocket's Friend Or Enemy?
Well, if we talk about how budget friendly this restaurant is then here's the menu! Yes you're reading that right! The food actually begins with just ₹70 here! And the whole menu doesn't cross ₹250. Overall it is going to feel very light on your pocket because not only you receive good food at affordable prices but at the same time you get to enjoy various offers.
Fun Offer - They are currently offering - Buy any 3 rolls & get 1 free. Isn't that amazing?
Here's what I ordered!
So, I ordered some of my classic favorites! I mean I am still one of those people who will go out and order the same dishes again and again! Haha!
My order was completely North Indian, I ordered Butter Paneer Masala (Paneer Makhni) with some Naan and Daal Makhni with Aloo Kulcha!
Since it's a take away, the food did turn a bit cold on the way back home but never mind! The taste compensated for the the cold temperature of the food. I asked them to make my curry really spicy! And they really added that red chilli powder generously. However, the flavor of 'Kasuri Methi' was very strong. Naans are my all time favorite. Considering the price, they tasted amazing! However I've had better naans. The daal makhni and Aloo kulcha offered me nothing but heaven! Kulcha were rightfully filled with the stuffing while the daal was aromatic and flavorful!
Overall its really the best and cheapest restaurant out there in Kolkata for Vegetarian Foodies!
Grab yourself some delicacies!
Thank you.
